Not all maps are drawn. Some are remembered.

The Map Maker

The journey home begins with a single memory.

My debut novel, The Map Maker, will be released October 4, 2026.

A story about memory, intuition, self-trust, and the parts of ourselves we sometimes have to remember our way back to.

There is a place between forgetting and remembering.

When Solenne awakens in the mysterious House at the Edge of Time, she remembers almost nothing. Only an ache she cannot explain, a journal written in her own hand, and a handful of strange objects that seem to know more about her than she does.

Writing & Reflections

I write about the things that catch my attention: curiosity, self-trust, relationships, motherhood, nature, spirituality, change, and the moments that make me stop and wonder why.

About Shelby

I didn't set out to become an author. I followed my curiosity. What began in journals eventually became essays, and somewhere along the way, a story began asking to be written. The Map Maker is my first novel, but writing has been part of my life for much longer than I ever thought to call myself a writer.
